‘Agapanthus II’
Pictured is a specimen of the purple flowered agapanthus variant.
It grows like a weed in the drier areas of New Zealand and the flowers (white also) are absolutely everywhere in summer.
None of the rose’s nobility and romance, but definitely not so high maintenance and just as beautiful in my eyes!
