‘Easter (Harakeke Rising)’
Wishing you all a Happy Easter!
I hope you enjoy this shot of flax (harakeke in its Māori transliteration from English) at this time of hope and renewal, however you celebrate it.
Thanks again for stopping by!

…the lapping tide’s just a step away…

‘Curls & Shadows’
…even the darkness is curved…

‘Twists & Turns’
…life is full of curly questions!…

‘Gilt Edged’
gilt edged opportunities often await behind seemingly closed doors, in my experience.
we just need to be curious and bold enough to prise them open!

‘Ghost Tears’
…rain apparitions…

‘Farewell To The Day’

‘Fisherman’s Friends’
…pots, ropes and buoys…

‘Tokomaru Bay Wharf’
More wharf pictures ,this time from north of Tolaga Bay, and a little up the coast.
Again, a now disused pier – a relic of the times last century when ships were the cargo kings in this remote part of New Zealand.
Great to photograph though!

‘The Gig III’

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf VI’
…time to drift away from this series of images of this historic pier – thanks for stopping by!…

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf V’
“Turangi was Here”
(there’s always someone who got there before you!)

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf IV’
…walk out over the shining sea…

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf III’

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf II’
…old rails, new horizons…

‘Tolaga Bay Wharf’
…660 metres to a vanishing point…

‘The Old Shed’
…leaning, frail, worn – but what treasures held, what goings on, in the years since you were born?…
