‘Farewell To The Jungle’
With apologies to Guns ‘N Roses, who wished to welcome you to their particular jungle, I post this image to mark my ongoing recovery from cancer – the illness did feel to me like tangled, impenetrable bushland. Really happy to get away from there…
To lift your day – there is just something wild and carefree about toetoe plants catching the breeze.
‘A Tinge Of Optimism’
…pink tinged green leaves, rosy round the edges – little buds emerge – it’s looking brighter…
‘Golden Toetoe Feather’
…luxuriant in lux,swaying with the breeze…
‘Allowing For Growth’
A downtown carpark incorporating planted inserts – a cool juxtaposition of man made and natural materials. Love it!
…in the grove of things that just hold on…
A shot of greenery in my mother’s garden – epiphytic plants, stag’s horns, I think.
Epiphytes grow on trees but do not feed off them.
They rely on the host trees for support but without damaging them.
This is, I reckon, a good way to be.
…caught in streaming light…
…I came to the garden for peace and softness – there was none to be found…
